At The Butchart Gardens we are known for our stunning flower displays and of course our renowned Christmas light displays during our Magic of Christmas season, through Janaury 6th.  But, did you know we have food to delight your palate as well? To round out your experience, we offer a variety of dining experiences - from light fare to fine dining.

Our Coffee Shop is located near the Seed and Gift Store, and offers hot chocolate and eggnog lattes to warm the tummy during Christmas, especially after skating on our ice rink, as well as hot dogs and house made sandwiches.  Kids, 12 and under, should remember to bring a hand-crafted snowflake (white 8½ x 11) and exchange it for a children's hot chocolate during the season to January 6, 2014!  Menu

If you are wanting something more substantial, head to The Blue Poppy Restaurant.  Cafeteria style or à la carte, taste-bud titillating meals such as Butter chicken or Tortelloni pasta are offered between 4 and 8pm. Rounding out our offerings, The Dining Room restaurant serves High Tea daily from 12 to 3pm throughout the season, and dinner between 5 and 8pm.  Consistently scoring in the top 10 of the area's fine dining establishments on TripAdvisor and Open Table the Magic of Christmas Menu is replete with seasonal favourites, made with local ingredients at the direction of our Executive Chef, Travis Hansen.
