Flower and Garden Report for June 24, 2016

Begonia baskets
We had another brilliant week in the garden as the seasonal borders are really beginning to provide us with an abundance of spectacular colour. The hanging baskets and container plantings are nicely complimenting the overall display and are really highlights in their own right - if you take the time to observe them closely.
Very soon we will be opening the newly created garden area that we designed and built as a permanent home for the Dragon fountain.  Watch for details on our Facebook Page or follow us on Twitter.  We received the beautiful bronze Dragon as a gift from the government of China last year. This area includes a spectacular water feature and has been landscaped with plants that have their origins in China.
The gardens are coming into the fullness of their summer beauty, so this really is a wonderful time to experience all that the garden has to offer at this time of year.
