Flower Report for October 9 2013

With good weather predicted for the next week we are looking forward to a colourful Canadian Thanksgiving weekend. Although the summer floral display is nearing its end, we have started the changing the display borders and the gardens continue to glow with the colours of fall. Thousands of colourful Chrysanthemums enhance the beauty of the display and to extend the show of colour through this month. The Dahlia border continues to be unrivaled in its colour and beauty, but the brilliant fall foliage colours of the maples and euonymus are starting to contend for top spot.
