The Garden Report for November 19, 2015

Red berries against a blue sky
The garden has fully transitioned into its tranquil winter mode, providing you with the opportunity to enjoy the garden from a completely different perspective. The Christmas display has become a special feature in the garden – even in the daylight hours and the anticipation is building for official light up of the Gardens on December 1st.

As you wander through the garden at this time of year the unique design of the garden that Jennie Butchart first laid out is much more apparent and her vision can be clearly appreciated. This season reveals a quiet, subtle beauty as the bold colours of the spring, summer and autumn have given way to a garden in its purest, simplest form.
