Garden Report for November 30 2013

Staff Picks

The gardens take on a tranquil beauty that is very special during this time of the year. To really appreciate the garden you need to look at it and experience it from a totally different perspective. Although the flowers and leaves are gone, the trees and shrubs reveal a more subtle beauty, exposing unique bark and intricate branching habits.   Colourful berries also become more apparent as they attract birds and illuminate the landscape.

The most colourful garden feature this week is the show greenhouse where we are showcasing a brilliant display of colourful Poinsettias.
