“Great Place to Try Afternoon Tea!”

Afternoon Tea 2015 Menu
We wished to try traditional afternoon tea and picked this place for the following reasons: reasonable price (about $30), great location, not impossible to get a reservation.

The afternoon tea was very good, lots of great teas to choose from, served in style and complemented by great views of the gardens from the windows. The tea comes with lots of little sandwiches but also with many pastries, cakes, etc. So it is more than enough to fill you up for lunch; however, it is probably not the right choice for people on a diet or those who are mindful of sugar consumption. Having said that, there is a regular lunch menu with Cobb chicken salad that was found amazing by a person in our group. Or if you do have lunch, ask your server to pack up some of the pastries to go.

They are very busy, especially on weekends in the summer, so please make reservations ahead of time. On the Easter long weekend, even with a reservation, we had to wait for 20min for a table, while everyone without a reservation was turned away. Having said that, I was able to reserve a table only on a few days notice.
