How Not to have Rain on Your Wedding Day!

Reblog - Tara Hughs - Butchart Garden Wedding

Every bride and groom’s worst fear, rain on their wedding day! What if I told you there is a place where you could be married in a garden, and guaranteed not to be rained on? Would you believe me?

Well believe it or not, here in Victoria, British Columbia, during some of the rainiest months of the year you can be married at Butchart Gardens. Planning an early spring wedding and have a love of gardens? This national historic site may be the place for you, between January 15th and March 31st Butchart Gardens is open as a wedding venue.

The Spring Prelude indoor garden is a florists dream. Full of fragrance and spring blooms including hyacinths, tulips, magnolias and orchids it truly is a flower lovers paradise! Just think, no decor needed for the ceremony! The number of guests allowed is 60, so it’s perfect for an intimate wedding, or vow renewal.

Once the ceremony is over, the historic dining room of the original Butchart family home is a wonderful place for a dinner reception. For more information on wedding packages and pricing, email an inquiry to weddings@butchartgardens.com.

Good luck in all your wedding planning!

And a special thank you to Spark and Whimsy Photography for the beautiful photos.
