Matthew Barber bio:

There was a golden age for the singer-songwriter; it was the late 60's and early 70's when the genre gave us a bounty of talent; Dylan, Young, Mitchell, Lightfoot, Carole King, James Taylor, Jackson Browne, Paul Simon, and many more.  Matthew Barber may have been born in the wrong era, but he uses that golden age as a blueprint for his craft. During his 9 year, 6 album career, Matthew has come out the other end of a major label deal, been at the forefront of the Toronto indie music explosion, and has played every nook and cranny Canada has to offer.

Jill Barber bio:

Two time Juno Award nominee Jill Barber, is one of Canada's brightest stars - selling out theatres coast to coast and headlining the country's most prestigious festivals. Her albums have sold over 100,000 copies. Her Mischievous Moon spent 13 straight weeks at #1 on the Canadian Jazz Charts and debuted at #12 on the US Billboard Jazz charts. Her song Never Quit Loving You is featured in the recent commercial campaign for the Dodge Journey. Her new album Chansons a collection of covers of classic French songs was released in January 2013.
