Spring Flowers at The Gardens by Lotus Johnson

Lotus Johnson is often seen at The Gardens photographing the minutae of the seasonal flora and fauna, including of course, flowers. She is a prolific photographer (35,000 photos on flickr) and describes herself as:

(An) Enthusiastic nature explorer, caretaker of many gardens, lover of all green things and all beings...I am retired and a full time caregiver, I can be found when I get time off enjoying photography, it is my lifeline! I love hiking, and walking...hunting for the perfect view. I take pictures of what I see, anything from historical buildings to graffiti, to flowers, trees and more.

We thought you might enjoy her perspective on spring flowers at The Gardens.  Happy Mother's Day!
