Black Press’ annual Best of the City has, based on its readers votes, awarded The Butchart Gardens first place in the “Best Tourist Attraction” category.

“We are very pleased readers in Victoria, Oak Bay, Saanich and Goldstream have voted us number one,” said Dave Cowen, general manager of The Butchart Gardens. “Of course we know we are more than an attraction for tourists by the large number of twelve month pass holders we have. They enjoy bringing their visiting friends and relatives and we thank all of them for the vote of confidence.”
