Our culinary team’s menus are based on ingredients fresh from local farms. Having a close working relationship with local suppliers ensures the team receives the best quality ingredients. The approach to food preparation and wine pairing reflects the family traditions set by the Butcharts over a century ago.
We can help you with any, and every, level of menu planning from breakfast, to refreshment breaks, to lunch, to Afternoon Tea, to dinners and receptions. Modern kitchens and talented staff use the best of local ingredients to prepare everything from simple soups to complex multi-course dinners. Various menu options are listed below.
Located in the original Butchart family residence the Dining Room Restaurant is an ideal location for social events, family meals, and executive receptions and dinners. An intimate setting featuring contemporary, fresh local foods.
Filled with natural light and views of the gardens, The Blue Poppy Restaurant offers space for group meals, award ceremonies, dinner & dances, and much more.
Located in the Children’s Pavilion the Carousel Room offers a unique setting with natural light and views of the gardens. A great space for meetings, receptions and parties or as a place for your group to pick up a beverage or a light snack on their walk through the gardens.
Offer your group the feelings of yesteryear with a Garden or Gourmet picnic on the Residence Lawn where once upon a time the Butchart family and friends picnicked and played croquet. Bordered by the Italian and Rose Gardens with views of Tod Inlet, you’ll find it a beautiful location for your group to gather for a meal on their garden walk or as a break from your event.
If you want your group to experience a Garden Barbecue and dine alfresco under tents, the expansive Firework lawn is a great location. It’s available except for Firework Saturdays. Our Food Services Planning Guide has complete details.
Our policies are designed to help your events run smoothly and to provide you with exceptional experiences.
