Butchart Gardens Donates $10,000 to Help Craigflower Farmhouse After Fire Damage

VICTORIA, B.C. – From one National Historic Site to another The Butchart Gardens has extended a helping hand to aid in the restoration of Craigflower Farmhouse.  The $10,000 donation came to TLC The Land Conservancy of BC after the third oldest building in B.C. caught fire on January 23, 2009.

MSN.com's travel section Holiday Travel Guide has featured The Butchart Gardens Christmas lights in a short slide show entitled "Lighting Up The World". The Gardens is featured along with images from such places as Jerusalem, Bogotá, London, Tokyo and Washington, DC.

Travis Hansen has been promoted to Executive Chef and Gord O'Neill has returned to The Gardens as The Dining Room Chef de Cuisine. Gord's last position was that of Executive Chef at the Sidney Pier Hotel and Spa.
