Counting Plan at The Gardens for Flower Count 2010

February 22, 2010

Victoria, BC – As lead financial sponsor in the Victoria Flower Count for 2010, The Butchart Gardens welcomes the opportunity to have visitors to The Gardens participate in the flower count from February 25th to March 3rd. A map and counting sheet will be available at the Admission Gate and Info Centre each day indicating which garden area is to be counted. The gardens have been divided into seven sections to allow one area to be counted per day.“What a great idea! This will not only show the world our true flower count numbers, but also, for the first time, allow guests to participate. This will surely enhance your visitors’ experience, as well as give us yet another reason to encourage our guests to visit you,” states Greg Greene, director of guest relations at the Royal Scot Hotel & Suites.
