MSN.com's travel section Holiday Travel Guide has featured The Butchart Gardens Christmas lights in a short slide show entitled "Lighting Up The World". The Gardens is featured along with images from such places as Jerusalem, Bogotá, London, Tokyo and Washington, DC.

The owner of The Butchart Gardens, Robin-Lee Clarke, today presented Annabelle, a bronze cast carousel horse, sculpted by Nathan Scott. This statue is a precursor to the hand-carved wooden carousel which will be unveiled to the public in late summer of 2009.

Victoria, BC - The "Enchanting Butchart Gardens" tour operated by Gray Line West to The Butchart Gardens has again been named Princess Cruises' Shore Excursion of the Season. This annual C.R.U.I.S.E. award is based on passenger feedback and is awarded to select tour operators in the Alaskan and Canadian ports from which Princess Cruises operates.
