Allow 45 minutes from downtown to Ferry Terminal, crossing is 1 hour, 35 minutes, and 30 minutes from Swartz Bay Terminal to The Gardens. Take Granville Street southbound. Once you cross the Granville Street Bridge, continue down Granville until you reach West 49th Street and turn left Watch for Oak Street and turn right onto Oak Street (Hwy#99). Continue along this route for about 18 km (11 mi) Once you have passed through the George Massey Tunnel, turn right onto Hwy #17 to Tsawwassen This highway ends at the BC Ferry Terminal When you disembark in Swartz Bay, continue along Hwy #17 for 7 km/ 4.4 mi. AFTER the first set of traffic lights, veer right (Exit 26) and follow the signs to McTavish Rd. When McTavish Rd. ends (you will have passed through one traffic light), turn left onto West Saanich Rd.
