Gord has spent over 20 years as a full time artist in varied media. He studied stone carving under master sculptor A. P. Smitherman in England before being enlisted by the film industry sculpting for movie sets for 12 years. It was during his film industry career that he learned mold making and other techniques from his fellow artists. Gord, now retired from film set work, is back to his own creations working from his studio here on Vancouver Island. His works are available in cold cast bronze.
