The Butchart Gardens
To our visitors,
The health and safety of our staff and visitors is our top priority at The Butchart Gardens.
We are closely monitoring what provincial health officials are advising and have taken all recommended precautions to ensure visitor and staff’s wellbeing while keeping the grounds open. To prevent overcrowding, in accordance with Provincial Guidelines, we will be spacing visitors accordingly.
We have enhanced our cleaning and sanitizing procedures throughout the gardens with a recommended virucide. Hand sanitizers are readily available.
Effective, Thursday, March 19 the Seed and Gift Store, Dining Room Restaurant, Blue Poppy Restaurant, Information Centre, Plant Identification Centre, and the Rose Carousel will be closed until further notice. All washrooms, with the exception of those located adjacent to the Turnstiles, are temporarily closed. We will reassess this situation on a weekly basis.
The Coffee Shop will remain open for coffee and small snacks for take-out only.
Regrettably, the Bunny Hunt and all other spring promotions are cancelled.
