Providing essential services, Visitor Services collects admission, controls traffic, and maintains The Gardens for the most memorable visitor experience. If you’re a people person with an outgoing personality, Visitor Services’ fast-paced, interactive environment may be for you.
We pride ourselves on the cleanliness of our facilities and surrounding environment, from our restaurants to the washrooms. Our custodial crews clean our buildings, from floors to garbage. If you’re a self-directed, hard worker, you can earn a $2.50/hour wage premium on one of our custodial crews.
With three restaurants and kitchens, our food services team is always looking for front-of-house and back-of-house support, from hosting to dish washing—and everything in between. Back-of-house candidates must have (or be willing to obtain) FOODSAFE Level 1 certification.
The face of our retail operations, the Seed & Gift Store staff are friendly and engaging. We welcome people with all levels of sales experience and provide ongoing training in this fun, fast-paced environment. With visitors from around the world, multilingual skills are an asset.
Our gardening staff work outside (and in our Plant Identification Centre!) and enjoy digging, raking, barrowing and pruning all year round. Botanical knowledge is an asset, and candidates must have (or be willing to obtain) their own pruning shears and CSA-approved footwear.
