The Butchart Gardens are wheelchair and mobility scooter accessible.
Complimentary loaner wheelchairs are available, please note that loaner wheelchairs do not have handbrakes. Wheelchairs are available on a first come, first served basis.
If you wish to rent a mobility scooter, please contact Motion directly at 250-656-6228 to arrange delivery to The Gardens for your visit. The Butchart Gardens does not have scooters on site to rent.

Online tickets are not required for the winter season to visit The Gardens, tickets are available for purchase upon arrival at our admission gates.
Online tickets do not guarantee admittance and are non-refundable. Tickets purchased online do not expire. The amount of the ticket can be used towards admission for a future visit.

The Butchart Gardens is pet friendly. We welcome you to bring your well-behaved leashed pets with you for your visit.
Please review our Pet Policy prior to your visit.
There are three restaurants located on site The Coffee Shop, The Blue Poppy Restaurant, and The Dining Room Restaurant.
The Coffee Shop is open daily during Garden hours and offers a selection of pastries and lunch items.
The Dining Room serves High Tea daily from 11:30 am – 2:30 pm.
The Blue Poppy Restaurant is closed for the season reopening in the spring. During the winter months the restaurant is transformed into an indoor spring garden/wedding venue.
Our Gelateria is closed for the season.
If you would like to bring your own food to The Gardens there are designated picnic areas available, please note barbecues of any kind are not permitted.
