- We do not offer age-related discounts.
- We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, JCB, Cash, Interac Bank/Debit Card and Travellers Cheques.
- Tickets may be purchased at our admission gate or online.
- Tickets for personal use must be purchased here. Tickets for gifts must be purchased here.
- The credit card used to purchase personal use tickets must be presented with tickets upon arrival at The Gardens. Gift tickets are mailed out in advance and do not require credit card presentation upon arrival.
- Same day readmission is permitted. Please have your hand stamped at the Information Centre before departure and present your original admission ticket upon return. The Gardens staff will collect your original admission ticket and issue a readmission ticket
- Next day readmission is permitted. Please have your hand stamped at the Information Centre before departure and present your original admission ticket upon return. The Gardens staff will collect your original admission ticket and issue a readmission ticket for:
- Adults: $3.50 +tax
- Youth: $2.50 +tax
- Children: $1.00 +tax
- Only one readmission is permitted.
- Readmission is not permitted on Firework Saturdays or on Special Event Days.
- A group’s bus driver and tour guide are admitted to The Gardens free of charge with The Butchart Gardens Photo Identification. The Butchart Gardens ID is complimentary, issued to all tour staff with valid company identification upon their first visit to The Gardens, valid for three years.
- Groups of 25 or more adults who arrive by bus and pay together in one sum are offered a discounted rate. For groups of 24 or fewer, the regular adult rate applies.
The Butchart Gardens’ military discount was proudly implemented in 1941. What initially began as free admission for military in uniform during the war years only, has been continued by the Butchart family to this day.
- Members currently serving in the Canadian military receive complimentary admission to The Butchart Gardens upon presentation of their Canadian Forces Photo Identification Card.
- Canadian Veterans receive an admission discount of 10%. Please show your valid CF1 card along with photo identification at our Admission Gate.
- Members of foreign military in active service receive a 50% discount on admission to The Butchart Gardens. Please present valid military identification together with photo ID to receive this benefit.
- Discounts not available on Firework Saturdays or special event days.
