The Butchart Gardens Announces Summer Entertainment and Fireworks Including the Return of a Special Event– Chilliwack!

EVENING ENTERTAINMENT
The Summer Series of evening entertainment begins June 28th and runs through August 31st. The Butchart Gardens plays host to 38 musical performances on Wednesday through Saturday evenings.
The Chris Millington Band, Tropic Mayhem and Odyssey String Quartet highlight the first week of the eclectic summer program including classic and contemporary rock and pop music, hits from the 60’s through 90’s and swing, jazz and jukebox hits. This year’s international flair includes contemporary Maori music, Swedish folk tunes, and Celtic classics from the Emerald Isle.
On Thursday, August 15th The Gardens will welcome the iconic rock band Chilliwack for a special event performance. A limited number of guaranteed admission tickets will be available for purchase starting on June 10 at 9:00am. All other admissions will be on a first-come, first-serve basis until we reach capacity.
Other highlights include a return of The Victoria Symphony on August 1st, BTU on July 17th, and singer-songwriter and gifted storyteller Stephen Fearing on August 30th.
From classical music to kitchen party folk, oldies, blues, contemporary, Celtic tunes and more, the summer line-up offers something for everyone. A complete summer line-up can be found here.

FIREWORK SATURDAYS
Starting June 29, the pyrotechnic magic of spectacular fireworks returns to The Butchart Gardens. The one-of-a kind, world-class shows feature original aerial and ground displays designed and choreographed to music by the Butchart’s great-grandson Christopher Ross. Bring a blanket or lawn chair to enjoy an awe-inspiring evening!

Fireworks are presented under permit after weekly consultation with the Central Saanich Fire Department and may be cancelled due to extreme weather. Admission tickets are non-refundable, but retain their value and can be used at a later date. Please check our website for updates.
Wednesday – Sunday, The Dining Room Restaurant is open until 8:00pm and The Blue Poppy Restaurant is open until 7:30pm.
NIGHT ILLUMINATIONS
From June 1 to September 15, enjoy Night Illuminations Wednesday to Sunday evenings. As dusk falls, thousands of garden lights give a soft magical glow to shrubs, trees, and flowers. The Gardens are transformed into a breathtaking wonderland, showcasing an artistic display of light and shadow.

*Firework Saturdays are Included in the price of daily admission, no same day readmission. Regular admission rates apply for 12-month pass holders. Pass holders are welcome to view The Gardens until 4:00pm on Firework Saturdays. Regular admission will be charged and refunded if pass holders leave prior to 4:00pm.
