The Dining Room

Dine in the original Butchart family residence while enjoying spectacular views of the Private Garden, or the Italian Garden and Tod Inlet. The Dining Room Restaurant is the perfect venue for a romantic dinner, a social gathering with friends, a family celebration, or a corporate event.

The Dining Room Restaurant will be closed from October 15th to November 30th and re-opening December 1st. 

Reservations for Christmas Day and Christmas Eve are available November 1st.

Gourmet Picnics

Firework Saturdays and Special Event days

Our Gourmet Picnics are presented in our wicker basket with a checkered tablecloth, white linen napkins and stainless steel cutlery. Try pairing with one of our local wines or beers for a truly unique experience. You are welcome to sit at a table, or on the lawn. A covered area is available in case of inclement weather or for accessibility issues. Reservations strongly recommended.

High Tea

December 1 to March 31
12 pm – 3 pm

High Tea is served from October 1st through the winter months. High Tea expands the selection of hot traditional delicacies and savories which may include a Cornish pasty, roasted vegetable and cheese quiche, or a chicken and mushroom vol-au-vent.

Wines are carefully selected from as close as our back yard, and as far away as Australia and Spain. A huge selection of award-winning BC wines is also available, with an ample selection of wines by the glass. All wines selected lend themselves to our cuisine, and our knowledgeable staff is ready to help you decide. We participate in BC’s Bring Your Own Wine Program.
